Quality Assurance Division Tasks
Quality Assurance Division Responsibilities
In addition to its responsibility for completing the annual performance evaluation of faculty, administrators, and staff, documented on the website, and managing the electronic evaluation process conducted by academic departments, the Quality Assurance Division has the following responsibilities
Responsibility for University Performance Evaluation Affairs:
1- Evaluating college performance and taking the necessary measures to assess the level and quality of performance.
2- Establishing a database for all college activities to monitor the development of the educational process.
3- Conducting and participating in field studies to align educational outcomes with labor market needs and providing guidance in this regard.
4- Ensuring the achievement of the college’s objectives by taking appropriate measures to evaluate its programs and outcomes using various measurement tools.
5- Establishing the necessary procedures for implementing quality assurance standards, based on which the college’s compliance with accreditation quality requirements is verified.
6- Providing technical advice to the college in developing and implementing performance evaluation and quality assurance systems.
7- Preparing periodic reports on the unit’s activities and submitting them to the college’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Division.
8- Preparing and planning follow-up self-evaluations of the college’s activities and various programs, and monitoring implementation.
Compiling and analyzing the results of self-evaluation studies, highlighting their pros and cons, and providing necessary proposals for developing and improving performance.
Any other tasks assigned by the college to support the evaluation of university performance.
Responsibilities of Training and Technical Support Affairs:
Utilizing the results of the college’s self-evaluation of performance to guide the inputs of the educational process and proposing appropriate means and methods for development.
Continuously improving the college’s performance.
Conduct training courses and workshops that contribute to building the college’s institutional capacity.
Conduct seminars and lectures aimed at raising awareness about promoting a culture of quality and developing and improving the college’s performance.
Develop programs for continuous improvement of the quality of teaching and learning, scientific research, and community service.
Develop a trained cadre of faculty members in the field of quality assurance and accreditation at the college.
Preparing periodic reports on the unit’s work and submitting them to the Quality Division in the field of continuous development and improvement of the college’s activities.
Issuing brochures and bulletins outlining quality assurance and accreditation support activities.
Any other tasks assigned by the college to support the performance improvement process.
Laboratory Accreditation Affairs Responsibilities:
Upgrading the college’s laboratory specifications to the standard specifications approved by international university laboratories.
2- Include technical specifications for laboratory equipment, code them, and document their data in coordination with laboratory officials.
3- Follow up on training courses for laboratory personnel according to their specializations, in accordance with international specifications and national standards.
4- Calibrate laboratory equipment by examining random samples at different time intervals to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment and the quality of laboratory testing equipment.
5- Follow up on the implementation of calibration programs for devices and equipment by relevant authorities.
