In line with the University Presidency’s directives and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision of e-learning as a successful and viable solution to address the COVID-19 pandemic, enhancing the skills of professors and students, and keeping pace with developments in the field of education,Our college established an e-learning unit during the 2019-2020 academic year, and it continues to perform its duties to this day.
E-learning objectives:
To make study materials available online to students to raise their academic level and enable interaction between them and their professors, unlike traditional education. Consequently, we work towards the following sub-goals:
– Enhancing students’ ability to learn to their fullest potential through information technology.
– Increasingly meeting students’ educational needs, which traditional education cannot meet.
– Developing students’ learning capabilities, i.e., advancing their personal development.
– Providing a flexible learning environment with strategies based on the use of modern teaching methods.
– Providing an electronic environment that contributes to decision-making and the rapid completion of administrative transactions.
– Managing, storing, and processing all data and information electronically.
– Ease and multiple methods for assessing student progress.
– Enhancing the capabilities of university professors in utilizing information technology in the educational process, both inside and outside of classrooms, during theoretical and practical lectures.
– Achieving self-learning and distance education, adopting the concept of continuous education or lifelong learning.
– Preparing students to use information technology in education, equipping them with various types of thinking skills, and developing their innovative and creative abilities.
